To support initiatives for a globally competitive Filipino consultant; To promote and protect the interest of the Filipino consultant; To strengthen the Filipino industry.

COFILCO was incorporated in September 1988 as a non-stock, non-profit organization to strengthen the local consulting industry. It now has seven member organizations. It was recognized in 1991 by the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) to act as the umbrella organization of Filipino consulting organizations and individuals and by the Government Procurement Policy Board in 2004.
